ideen is one of those lines that really makes me wonder how they hell they do it? is everything draped? how complicated are the paper patterns? how do you even grade those pcs? who does the sewing? i would love to be able to do something as hands on (it seems that way to me) and as thought out as ideen does.
we (hyden yoo mens) showed with them at the 2008 genart fresh faces show (more info here and photos on hydenyoo.com), and i thought their stuff was nice, until i saw it close up at the oak nyc showroom and i was really amazed with the complicated patterns.
i was lucky to get a few of the items from spring 09 at a crazy discount... i'm hoping i can find the fall 09 stuff as cheap.
